Walter the White Crayon

9 years ago I was tasked with creating something with a crayon. Since I cannot draw to save my life, I decided to write a story. Inspired by my niece’s love of drawing, Walter was born. Walter spends many years feeling useless until one day a little girl shows him just how useful he is.
It took nine years but Walter is now published and available for purchase. I hope you all come to love him as I do.

After the second, I decided it was probably worth finishing. This third book, Grip of the Shadow Plague, made me so happy I continued this series….

    Messenger by Lois Lowry

Lois Lowry is killing me with these open endings! Don’t get me wrong I have enjoyed every book in this series so far, but they all feel like they end in the middle of the story, not the end. It’s incredibly frustrating and Messenger follows that same pattern. I never realized how much I…

    Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry

I swear Lois Lowry is going to kill me with these cliffhangers. Gathering Blue has an even worse cliffhanger than The Giver did. If this series needed more books written, I’d go insane waiting. I mean, I’ve read books that clarify there is more to come before, but never like this. These books seem…
