Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian

Disclaimer: In Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian, they use the term “gods” as a swear word. However, since they specifically refer to the Greek gods, I did not feel it fell under the category of a swear word for my grading system.

BBA Grades

This is it. This is the last book of the series. I love and hate reaching the last book in a series. I love to see how everything comes together. I hate to see something I love end. Luckily, Percy Jackson doesn’t fully end here. This is the end of his personal series but he is a major player in the Heros of Olympus series. So don’t worry we will see him again.

In this book we see Percy having to face his destiny and defend the Olympians from Chronos and his army. A large majority of this book is focused on the war between the two sides. Percy, Annabeth, and the rest of the campers must defend Manhattan as Chronos’s army comes to destroy Olympus, which is found at the top of the Empire State Building.

This book ends with Percy and Annabeth officially starting to date. It is amazing, but because of that, I gave it a grade of B instead of an A. It also receives a B in the violence category. Nothing is more graphic than any of the other books. However, there are many more battles that happen because it’s literally a war. Everything up until now has been building to these battles that take place. Let me tell you, Percy is crazy impressive during this last book. I loved it!

If you haven’t guessed by now I definitely recommend this book. You can buy Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian here.
